2. In short
Loofty itself does not collect personal data: there is no sign-up and no own analytics or tracking, and your progress stays on your device. To offer the game for free, the app shows ads through Google AdMob. Google processes data for this as described in section 6 – personalised only with your consent.
3. Data stored only on your device
To keep your progress, the app stores the following only locally on your device:
- Game progress: best heights, collected stars, unlocked balloons, daily mission progress
- Settings: language, controls, difficulty, sound and vibration
This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. You can delete it at any time by uninstalling the app or clearing the app data in Android settings.
4. Android device backup
If you have enabled Android backup to your Google account, Android may include the locally stored app data in your personal device backup. This backup is performed by Google as part of your device settings; we have no access to it.
5. Sensors and permissions
- Vibration: for haptic feedback in the game. You can turn it off in the settings.
- Motion sensor: only used if you choose the “Tilt + swipe” controls. The device orientation is processed on the device for steering only and is neither stored nor transmitted.
- Internet and advertising ID: the app uses the internet connection only to load ads through Google AdMob, using your device's advertising ID (see section 6). The game itself also works offline; no ads are shown then.
6. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The app shows ads through Google AdMob, a service of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland ("Google"). You see optional rewarded videos (e.g. for a second chance or double stars) and occasionally a full-screen ad between two rounds.
When ads are loaded and shown, Google processes in particular: your device's advertising ID, your IP address (and possibly an approximate location derived from it), device and app information (e.g. device model, operating system, language) and information about your interaction with the ads. The purposes are delivering and measuring ads, billing, fraud prevention and – only with your consent – personalised advertising.
Consent: On first launch the app asks for your consent through Google's consent platform (Google User Messaging Platform). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, § 25(1) TDDDG). Without consent to personalised ads, Google shows only non-personalised or limited ads. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time in the app under Settings → Privacy settings (ads). You can also reset or delete the advertising ID in Android settings under Privacy → Ads.
Google may transfer data to the USA. Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. More information: policies.google.com/privacy and policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
7. Google Play and in-app purchase
When you download Loofty from Google Play or make the in-app purchase "Ad-free", Google processes data (e.g. payment data) under its own responsibility. We receive no payment data; the app only asks Google Play whether "Ad-free" was purchased and remembers this on your device. Google's privacy policy applies: policies.google.com/privacy.
8. Children
Loofty is not directed at children under 13. The app itself does not collect personal data; section 6 applies to advertising.
9. Your rights
We do not store any personal data about you ourselves, so we hold no data that we could provide, correct or delete on request. For data that Google processes for advertising, you can also exercise your rights (access, deletion, objection, withdrawal of consent) directly with Google. If you have questions about privacy, contact us at the email address above. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
10. Changes
If the app changes in a way that affects how data is handled, we will update this policy. The version published here applies.
